Surprisingly nothing that awkwark happened to me today. The main awkward thing that happened to me was that while at play practice we were doing a scene where I am supposed to be a townsperson with a few other people. Of course I was the only townsperson there. There is this one line where I (a bunch of townspeople) was supposed to laugh, so without thinking I did the loud "HA!" laugh and it got completely silent. Then of course we all started laughing. It was really awkwark and funny.

One day I was getting ready to go home, so I was standing in the science wing in my school waiting for my friends that I walk home with. While I was waiting I saw that everyone was going onto a class room. At first I thought that they were all going on for extra help. I then realized that there was still one period left in the day, I ran upstairs and through the empty hallway and walked into my classroom right as the bell rang. (Like a Boss!)

So... I love art class and always am happy to take one as my elective. Last year I took Metal and Fiber art, where we got to make jewelry and things out of metal and fabric. We had to use hand saws, and I was cutting one of my piece when all of a sudden my saw blade was gone. I looked at my hand and noticed that it was stuck in my ring finger and had cut my middle finger. That was an awkward talk with my art teacher. She did not have any band aids so I just decided to use a paper towel, and that was it. Well... this year I am taking ceramics and we were cutting out holes for our bird houses using exacto knives. I was putting some patterns on my piece when I felt a slight pain in my thumb and notice that I had accidentally slit it with the exacto knife. I went to my teacher (the same one as last year) and asked her if she had a band aid. To my surprise she remembered last year and was like oh not this again. She then went on to tell me that she had band aids in her room because of me...awkward...

Last year I took the AP United States History course (APUSH). There are two different kinds of essay questions on the APUSH exam, free response and DBQ (document based question). In class we were doing a practice DBQ, it was the first one of the year and I thought that I was doing pretty well. Well... when we got the essays back I looked through and saw that I accidentally wrote that "we would help provide jobs for the poop people" instead of poor people. To top off that fact... my teacher had circled the word poop and wrote a question mark next to it.
... Poop People...
That my awkwark story of the day, I will write one again tomorrow.

So to make my life more awkward than it already is, I am in the Marching Band at my school. I play the most annoying instrument of them all...the piccolo. During band class the people who are in the Marching Band are allowed to go out to the hallway and practice the show music. Last year when we went out the two piccolos were trying to tune and the drum majors told us that tuning doesn't matter. We decided to take advantage of this and I pulled all the way out while the other piccolo pushed all the way in so that we would be as out of tune as possible. We started to play one of the songs and it was AWFUL!!! We sounded like dying cats and everyone was covering their ears, but we did show the drum majors that yes in fact tuning DOES matter!

Hey again, so today I wanted to tell you about why I decided to write this blog in the first place. My friend and I are both really awkward, and always seem to have a story that is really awkward each day. While we were walking home one day we decided that we should start making our awkward stories a tradition for every walk home. They were our awkward stories of the day. Recently I got the idea that it would be great if I made a blog about all the stories. That is one of the reasons why I decided to start this blog.
Stay tuned for more awkward stories of the day!

Hi! I decided to make this blog because I am just an extremely awkward person and I thought that it would be nice to share some of my stories with you. For now I want to keep everything that I post anonymous, so I will only be using pronouns in my descriptions. The first story that I would like to tell you is about the title of this blog. You may have noticed that I wrote "awkwark" instead of "awkward", well there is a story behind that...
It was nearing in on the last day of school and some of my friends had gotten yearbooks so we were signing them during lunch. My friend had given me his yearbook to sign and I was running out of things to say, so of course I had to write down, "Well this is awkward", later on in the day however he was reading what I wrote and it turned out the I spelled "awkwark" and we have been using that word ever since.
Throughout the year after more ways to say awkward have come about by my inability to talk, spell and type. Here are some of the good ones:
-awkwarf
-gunga (this is actually awkward in Mandarin)
-gawkwark (I started to say gunga but then switched to awkwark)
-awkwars
That is the list (for now...) Hope that you enjoyed and will continue to read my blog
